Subject: Horse manure N value

I understand I may as well throw darts at the wall to come up with an accurate answer but a fellow I do some custom work for wants me to top dress his wheat with 28%. He spread horse manure on before planting last fall, doesn't know how much per acre he put on nor did he do an analysis on that manure. Wheat straw bedding, very little wood shavings if any. He seems to think he's going to have a lot of N left over for the wheat this spring, I think he will have very little if any. What about sulphur? Think there would any sulphur available from the manure last fall?

If it were mine I'd likely top dress as per usual but I hate to be wrong and end up with a bunch of lodged wheat and cost a bunch of unneeded N so I told him I would ask and see what y'all say.
