The tariff numbers charged by other countries are shockingly high on the Trump admin’s chart because they’re not actual tariff rates. They’re based on bad math involving trade deficit, not tariff rate. Why did they do that? No idea. Don’t get hung up on those numbers though.
I think we’re all trying to figure out the end game.
