Ottawa,ON Canada | I would say it will cost the same for AT 300 valve vs the proper kit for the tractor. I put a 300 in a 7710 last year, and a kit in a 9200 last week. Any savings on parts alone will be lost to the extra labour to install the 300. You have to find a place and make brackets to mount all the parts. Measure out and get proper fittings for about a dozen hoses. With the kit, it’s all laid out, installs in about 8-10 hours with some experience. 300 valve would be double that likely, by the time you make at least 2 trips to the hydraulic shop for hoses.
Also, the CCU and ACU came in the kit. Programming is simply adjusting input address, which is fully covered in the instructions. Only programming is for the dealer to program the new SSU.
Edit again, ordering the kit triggers JD to ask for the serial number, and the machine gets added to the PIP list. My PIP kit just came in today apparently.
