I'd like the '65 Impala with the 327 and 5 speed. 1968 was the year I graduated high school and all I could afford was a 1959 Biscayne with a straight 6 and 3 on the tree. I don't think I ever got more than 10 mpg with that thing.
I graduated HS that year too and I'm not remembering any 5 speeds of that era. Maybe in a truck but not an Impala.
Found a newspaper from 1968.
